As we quickly approach our winter break (yay!), Sympatico students are growing more and more excited for their coming performances. The next two weeks are offering many opportunities for family, friends, and the Alexandria City community to see the amazing work our students are doing every day.
On Thursday, December 8th at 6:00 PM, the Orff ensemble will perform at the Torpedo Factory Arts Center. This performance will go along with several other performances this evening, all meant to celebrate The Torpedo Factory’s monthly “Second Thursday” nights. Second Thursdays are a chance for the Torpedo Factory to debut new exhibits and artists in their community. There is no admission fee, and audience members are welcome to come watch the entire performance, or enjoy the music as you walk around to view the amazing new exhibits.
Sympatico returns to the Torpedo Factory on Saturday, December 10th, as the Strings at Sunrise and the Singing Eagles perform at 2:00 PM. This performance is also free to attend, and is open to the public. This is a perfect performance to stop by and see after lunch on Old Town Alexandria, and once again, audience members are free to stop and listen, or enjoy music as you explore the Torpedo Factory.
We wrap up our winter performances with the entire Sympatico program on Thursday, December 15th. All five of our ensembles (JABBA, Keetman, Orff Ensemble, Singing Eagles, and Strings at Sunrise) will perform their music at 6:00 PM in the Cafetorium at John Adams Elementary School. Admission is free, and parents, friends, and family are welcome to come enjoy this exciting winter concert!

As always, feel free to share these events with your family and friends; the more people we have in our audience, the merrier we’ll be! We hope to see you at our performances!
