keetman ensemble

Sympatico’s Keetman Ensemble is an introductory group of 20 students taught every morning before school.  The ensemble focuses on basic musicianship, musical skills, and instrumental technique – students of all ability levels are welcomed in the Keetman group.  Named in honor of Gunild Keetman and taught by Andrew Bawden, the main thrust behind publicizing the Orff method of music education, Sympatico’s Keetman Ensemble prepares students for participation in one of our other ensembles: JABBA, Orff, Strings at Sunrise, or Singing Eagles.
